Kings College - Croft Gardens
Project Information
Croft Gardens was a project providing residential accommodation for students of Kings College, Cambridge. CB Carpentry was engaged to form the roof build up across five buildings in sequential stages to form the impressive curved structure. Due to Kings College desire for sustainability the roof build up is a CLT frame and Passivhaus design to reduce embodied and in use carbon within the project.
Internal works across the project included fitting door sets, window surrounds and trim out works.
A CLT extension was also added to the existing administration building and CB carpentry fitted Iroko panelling to the exterior leaving a tasteful but durable finish.
